The recipe page
How a recipe reads on your phone — the Glance Bar, one card per section in cooking order, the floating Cook button, cooking mode with Ready At, and pages tinted by the dish itself.
Recipe enrichment
How Norish adds tags, allergy indications, meal categories, nutrition, provenance, step ingredients, and a picture of the dish to your recipes with AI, and how to run each one yourself.
Recipe provenance
Where a recipe comes from, its country, region, cuisines, and a short explanation, how Norish works that out, and how to curate the cuisine list.
Step ingredients
Each step can carry the ingredient lines it uses, with amounts computed at the moment you read them — including AI filling in the steps you haven't linked yourself.
Hidden Items
Choose what you would rather not be shown, from Recipe Provenance and Nutrition Information to ratings, favorites and timers. Everything is shown by default, and hiding changes only your own view.
Recipe Archive
Export every recipe you can see as one portable .norishrecipes file, and import it back into any Norish instance. What travels with a recipe, what deliberately does not, and why an archive is portability rather than backup.
